Since 1912 the Osborn family have tended vines in McLaren Vale & now the characterful Chester is the 4th generation making their fabulous & often interestingly named wines. Behind every name is a story. This wine was called ‘High Trellis’ as the vineyards from which it hails were the first to be trained above knee height. Slightly fuller bodied than Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret River.

Tasting Notes:
Lifted cassis & blueberry notes with hints of Chinese five spice & Eucalypt. Medium/full-bodied. Ripe tannins with a long and mouth-watering finish.

Pairing:
Great with spicy red meat dishes, such as Szechuan beef.
